Yeah - while there are benefits to one architecture or the other for specific apps (and for very technical reasons) it's also worth remember that we're talking degrees here. While you can argue architectural specifics between AMD and Intel infinitely there's no denying that ANY of the systems we're talking about are going to be a hell of lot faster than the system probably sitting on your desk now. ;^) I'm very pleased with my Dual Opteron in all conceivable ways. It leaves my old (but still quite high-end) P4 system in the dust. It also has no problem playing the most advanced games at my native LCD resolution - and really, isn't that all that matters?
