Lets see what he did. Pushed for investigation into certain UN corruptions that they would rather not come to light. Pushed for reform. Protested the yearly orgy of one sided resolutions against a single country while ignoring EVERY other country with massacres, civil rights violations, etc. Basically, he tried to make the UN what it's supposed to be, a working union of all nations rather than a useless club to lounge around in. Yes, he had his detractors, but even his foreign rivals respected him even if his local ones didn't.
