Hi Eri*K*a, Just checked out the trail map of Mt. Snow - looks really good. See what ya mean about the flat spot at the bottom of Mine Shaft if you were continuing across to the right on the map (to the left skiing).
FYI Mt. Snow and Heavenly are owned by the same company, American Ski Corp. If ya come out here, you gotta remember to bring supplemental oxygen: Mt. Snow base elevation: 1,900' Mt. Snow summit elevation: 3,600' Mt. Snow vertical drop: 1,700' Heavenly base elevation: 6,540' Heavenly summit elevation: 10,040' Heavenly vertical drop: 3,500' What's *really* bizarre is if people do a day trip from the San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento area to Heavenly, they are going from sea level to near-stratosphere in a couple of hours, then over-exerting themselves, then going back to thick air. It's actually possible to get "altitude sickness" doing that... but I haven't had the problem - must be 'cause I'm already an air head <g> -Benny ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
