Yeah, know just what ya mean about the skiing vs. stairs The "old" 50-passenger tramway at Heavenly (as opposed to the new gondola) had a lodge w/ cafeteria, bar, restaurant down a flight of about 72 stairs. Coming back up those stairs at 8,250' wearing ski boots had the pulse rate ski high and panting for breath!
