Yeah, know just what ya mean about the skiing vs. stairs

The "old" 50-passenger tramway at Heavenly (as opposed to the new gondola)
had a lodge w/ cafeteria, bar, restaurant down a flight of about 72 stairs.
Coming back up those stairs at 8,250' wearing ski boots had the pulse rate
ski high and panting for breath!

But skiing at the summit didn't do that.
