MADD makes the same mistake that a lot of groups of similar ilk make: they
fail to maintain the separation between the activity, and the choice.

MADD began as an organization that fought hard to ensure people made the
correct CHOICE, that is, don't drink and drive. Wasn't long before that
morphed, and now they are generally against ALL things alcholic....which
sucks.

There's a hard fact that these people grapple with: Given the potential,
some people will always take it to it's most tragic conclusion. The noble
fight is to ensure as many people make the correct choice as you possibly
can. The other, easier path, is to try and ban the choice altogether.

That's where I take issue with MADD.
