Six Sigma has been adopted where I work and as I have said before
mainly manages to be a program to allow people that don't know thing
one about your job come in to tell you how to do it better.

What's more, if those people manage a successful "process," e.g.,
despite their suggestions you still manage to get the job done, they
get a "black belt" and a chance to go eff-up someone else's workspace.

Oh and also you get to see endless powerpoint presentations depicting
people tripping over dollars to pick up dimes.
