I would say this is not quite true. I saw a _lot_ of clear cutting of old-growth forest by the lumber industry while living in the NW. And they are replaced by tree farms, which are certainly not forests. They specifically keep out the "web of life" that makes forest so useful. On the other hand, the work the tree industry has done to replant, improve products (like engineered wood products), and recycling (like toilet paper from recycled paper) has been truly impressive. There is a large amount of this environmentalists crap that is just fear > mongering, and they have been doing it for far longer than anybody else. I'd say there are a lot of groups that practice fear mongering, and have been doing it since before the "environmental movement" or "naturalist movement" has existed. But I get your point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
