My theory has always been ... and let me take this opportunity to note that I am NOT a scientist ... Earth's climate is just a closed system in equilibrium. Global Warming, if it operates by essentially removing some (or all) of the "energy filter" in our atmosphere, it adding energy to our climate. That is the "Warming" part of Global Warming needn't mean we're going feel warmer temperatures. It means more energy, or heat, is being added to the global climate mix.
