Businesses have finally wised up to that and now airlines are having

The thing I take issue with is that they knew they were running in the
red for years. I keep meaning to read that book "Nuts" or some such,
written by the dude who built up Southwest.

The 'no' part of my answer is that the US government forces the

Ha! That's genius! Give 'em a bunch of money, and then turn around
and take it back via taxes. Sorta like the opposite that's happened
with the tax cuts (we got money via tax rebates, but lost more in
the long run (IMO)). =P

I remember them standing up there in front of congress, all, hey,
we didn't see disaster coming! We're all, like innocent and whatnot.

Screwing their employees at the same time. I mean, they deserve
a golf clap. [/me golf claps]

Airlines should focus on getting people from 'A' to 'B' as cheaply as

I keep thinking about the trains in Atlas Shrugged. Heh.

Don't get me wrong tho, socialism doesn't have to be bad.
