Maybe, but maybe it's deserved:  I've heard that 50% of young black
men are or have been in prison.  That being the case the presumption
of guilt isn't a statistically inaccurate one.

Of course that doesn't justify an inequitable application of rights,
but you also can't blame people if that statistic is correct.
