I don't have a high end system and I'm not complaining. My apps run the same as they did under XP.
On my laptop about the only thing I run is Office and a few simple games, like solitare, The speed issues on my laptop are related to IO, not processor. I have never seen a bump in CPU make a major difference in the performance of a computer. I'd say a 1 ghz proc would be able to handle almost any desktop app out there. You want a real performance boost buy a SCSI hard drive. > -----Original Message----- > From: Vivec [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > People with High End dual Core processors are the ones complaining > that it isn't performing as quickly. So purchasing a super fast > processor really isn't the answer. > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:226808 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
