My Garage/Workbench PC is old - 1GHz proc, 512 Meg of RAM and crappy onboard Intel video.
So Home Basic seems like the more appropriate fit but I REALLY want the media extender functionality (so that I can use the music stored on my main PC in the garage more easily). I know that Home Basic lacks media-center functionality (that's fine) but can it still act as a media extender? I can't find a feature list to this specificity out there.
