You can do it Cold Fusion, but Access definatly isn't the way to go
database wise, it's not robust enough to handle the number of records or..
the amount of potential traffic.
MySpace isn't perfect, it never was. There's alot of bugs and changes that
could be made. You're talking about a tremedous investment in
infrastructure, and coding time, in order to compete on their level. What
you're asking for, if done right isn't something that just going to come
together in a day or two, you're talking about a couple of years of
planning, purchasing and coding to create something that would blow
MySpace out of the water., not to mention, the hardware and capacity
investment to handle the traffic.

Subject: Re: Need Cold Fusion help
Frankly, I'm really upset at the Cold Fusion community. I was told it was
very helpful, but I don't think so now.
What I'm looking for may be a lot, and granted my first Cold Fusion
project
is hard, but that's just par for the course for the way I was raised. I
am
a Retard, and we never back down from a challenge.
My father was a Retard, too, as was his father before him. His mother and
my great grandmother, Anna Mazing Retard, took on the challenge of
developing the public education system that the great state of Mississippi
enjoys today. Sure, that was a challenge, but I don't think any of you
here
can criticize that accomplishment and still keep a straight face.
Her father, Pho Khing, fled from Vietnam when French overlords burned his
family's rubber plantation. He was playing with a thickened gob of rubber
sap that caught on fire, but he was so happy with his toy that he forgot
to
wipe it off his hands in time, and his hands were burned off. He wanted
to
buy back his family's repossessed plantation by selling rights to the new
rubbery toy, but without hands he couldn't reproduce a batch of the
formula
for the French. No, the honor of inventing Silly Putty would go to
another
person much later on. Since Pho Khing he didn't speak French they just
put
him on a boat to America to get rid of him. But a childless couple,
Weatherly and Euphonia Retard, who were waiting for another arrival at the
docks spotted Pho Khing and were so enchanted by the handless lad that
they
adopted him into the family, making him Pho Khing Retard. He later met
and
married his first cousin, Anna Mazing, and their offspring produced the
Retards that led to me.
So you see, I'm strong enough to take your criticisms and taunts. I have
a
job to do, and I'm going to do it. It really shouldn't be all that hard.
It's just putting up a personal profile with some pictures, and selling
and
auctioning a few things. Like you can't do that with Cold Fusion and MS
Access? Please tell me why not.
Maybe if my critics weren't such quitters, *they* might be good enough to
be
Retards, too. Think about that, why don't you?
