That's the irony.  Smart Business, a cynic would say, couldn't care
less about GW, but they see the writing on the wall: sooner or later
government is going to force you to do something.

So they're using my business motto: screw yourself.

When you screw yourself you still get screwed; but you get screwed on
your terms, on your timetable, and in a way that suits you best.

So Business has decided that, sooner of later, Guvment is coming to
screw them.  They figure it's cheaper and more politically expedient
to act now in their own way rather than wait for it to be mandated.

Politicians, then, are put in the Iraq position: if you vote for it
now, it may come back to haunt you later.  So they drag their feet.
