So..I was examining our office environment to determine vista feasibility. Basically, we simply can't switch, even if I really wanted to.
We have a large Xerox copy machine - No Drivers Xerox Phaser 7400N - Driver looks Beta-ish, less functionality. an HP Designjet 500 - No Drivers. New Canon Scanjet 4400fs - Got Drivers and new control panel. 5 machines with Nvidia QuadroFX cards - No 100% Drivers. Autocad 2006 also doesn't work, you can spoof it with Program Compatibility to function on local files, but when you run it as Administrator network connections error out because of the differences in authentication. It expects the regular user, but Autocad goes out as the Administrator user, or some funnyness like that. Bottom line is, it won't work in our office environment. Apparently there's the same issue with Autocad 2007, and apparently we have to wait until Autocad 2008 before it is fully compatible. Autodesk say they are 'looking into' the Vista Compatibility issue. What? They didn't know Vista was going to launch??? That all kinda sucks :-( ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:227509 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
