I've owned a guitar ever since I was 13. To this day, about the only thing I can play is the little solo on the "The Wall" album in "Is There Anybody Out There"
For some reason it's never come easy to me and that's what frustrates me. I normally don't have a hard time learning things. How in the heck can I make it stick?! Lessons are out because I'm already backlogged enough on time. I could practice at home, but just can't make a weekly appointment somewhere else. Tech solutions would be preferable since I'm addicted to gadgets and software. Help! My girls are tired of me picking "Mary had a little lamb" on one string. Oh, and if this makes any difference....My wife took piano lessons from 6 to 18 years old. She's a great piano player and can play a piece of music straight from the sheet easily...but she has to have the sheet. She can't play the music from hearing it. I, on the other hand, can pick out the melody and rhythm pretty easily and replicate them on the piano. But when it comes to reading sheet music....my head spins. -- "They put a hot wire to my head 'Cause of the things I did and said And made these feelings go away Model citizen in every way" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:228105 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
