With a name like mine I can not deny my French heritage. I thought it was quite funny. I also know a few former members of the French military. They would think it was funny. They are upset with thier current political leadership because they make them look bad, but I could not fault thier courage.
But even they say the French needed the Légion étrangère because the usual French youth is more interested in getting laid or drunk than joining the service. They, the former French soldiers, even question the courage of the current French Army.
