But, frankly, I'm tired of being portrayed by you as some mindless, idiot patriot. I'm not denying that I'm a patriot. I'm proud of it, in fact. But it's not like I haven't thought through these issues, and thought them through completely and studied them a good deal. When I was younger, I was as liberal as any person on this list. It's not like I just blindly accept what people tell me about the US, etc. But that's how you always portray me and I'm tired of it. I would think you could tell from my writing that I'm an intelligent person. You may disagree with me and that's fine. But stop painting me as some mindless idiot. I have studied a good deal about the ideals I espouse and the history of my country and the history of other countries and cultures (though, not all, of course). I'm not just spouting off some Rush Limbaugh crap (hell, I can't stand RL and refuse to listen to him).
