1. Not sure really, but there are two road races every year. One in Watkins
Glen and the other in Sonoma. Both are right-left turn tracks. Pretty fun to
watch.

2. Because they will go over 200 MPH on some tracks and will have
spectacular accidents that can and have resulted in death. The accidents
they have now (for instance, the ones this weekend in California) are pretty
spectacular. And these guys are only doing a little over 170 on the
stretches and around 130 in the turns.

3. I cannot answer that one. I find the races very fun. Watching your driver
jockey for position or watching the other drivers vie for a better spot is
pretty interesting and exciting when you figure these guys are all going
over 150MPH and are literally inches away from eachother. Couple that with
the fact that they cannot see shit to the right and thus are driving blind
when passing on the left (other than the spotter telling them it is OK to
pass and what not). I admit that watching it on TV is not as good as being
there but when we (family) all get together to watch it we make it fun.
