Yeah, it's pretty expensive, but there's no other way to *really* learn how to adjust for weather at such distances. Very Zen. Serious immersion training will put you through a thousand or more rounds, and maintenance training will take a couple hundred rounds a year, but compare that to the costs of other serious pasttimes and it's not so bad.
