So I didn't fill out my children's SS numbers on my medical benefits
forms.

I got an email today saying that they cannot process my application
until they receive these.

I didn't fill them out on purpose, they don't shouldn't need them, and
legally aren't entitled to them, I mean even the IRS isn't.

I have some privacy concerns considering the alarming rate at which
identity theft is growing, and with the recent experience of both my and
my wife's personal information having been on that laptop that was
stolen from the department of the army. We got letters about that. I
figure that if the Army can lose my personal information, and insurance
company certainly can.

Now I didn't hesitate to provide mine, I mean, it's all part of applying
for work, but why should I have to provide my kids? I have numbers for
them, but realistically, they aren't even required to have them until
they begin working correct?

I try to live according to my beliefs, and sometimes it causes
difficulties, but I don't want to cost my kids medical insurance because
Daddy is a hardheaded fool.

Bah, I don't know, I'm going to let my wife decide.
