Too whomever the genius was who wrote about "his friends" computer that Apple wouldn't support or whatever. Plain and simple you have to be a complete idiot to have that happen to you. I can tell you from experience that Apple goes above and beyond anything a pc maker will do to help you out.
2 stories: My POS Dell (which is on ebay now http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=016&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=260098038064&rd=1&rd=1) The first one i had would screw up and a "dell" tech would come out to fix it. The first time one came out I went to get something to drink and came back and he is re-installing the os, didn/t ask me or anything, just did it, wasn't the only time either. matter of fact with all the problems I had with Dell and all the calls I made, their only advise was to re-install it all everytime there was a problem. I mean come on its windows, there is a problem every 5 seconds. Now about how Apple reacts. I bought an intel 20" imac last year and used it for about 2 months and one day I wald into my office and tripped over something and spilled a coffee right into the ports of the imac, lol.. And as I tried to recover my fall i smacked the imac into the wall. So I took it to an apple store to get it fixed. Left it there to get fixed, they said 3-5 days, they called me 8am next morning and said it was fixed. So I went to pick it up and brought it home and it went out again after a few minutes so I called the Apple store and was on with the manager and he said the bring it back in and I said that it was my fault so I will just come buy a new one and to have it ready. He said "no" bring that one back. To make it shorter of a story, they were going to GIVE me a new one but didnt have one with the better video card like mine had so he offered me a FULLY LOADED MacBook Pro with Applecare, straight exchange (the MBP was well over $1000 more than my imac) so of course I took it. Now you tell me a pc company that would do that???? Your story is fishy, usually these stories are told by people who want something but they cant afford it so they make shit up to make themselves feel better. If you don't like a mac, that's fine, have fun working slower. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=RVJQ Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:230521 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
