Oh - and definitely get a car. Atlanta isn't a walking city unless you don't plan to venture far. There are plenty of cabs available, but I would recommend a car. You can check the web for set cab rates from the airport to certain intown neighborhoods. 3 years ago I think it was $28 from airport to Midtown and maybe $32 to Buckhead. Might as well just rent.
