thanks for posting. This is approximately my opinion of Office 2007. Was trying to help a friend write an outline yesterday and it kept insisting that nooooo... this is not Roman number II it's letter G! And changing it back when I changed it! Yes yes this is a setting but where is it in Word 2007? Help will only tell you how to turn *on* "this helpful feature." We finally got tired of fighting it and switched to Word 2003 on my laptop where my friend, who has a MOS certification btw, turned this feature off.
