The stay-at-home-parent kids say please and thank you, are respectful to adults, ask permission, are MUCH calmer, are interested in hanging out with the adults - at least for awhile, and seem pleased to receive attention from you as a guest. Typically they'll want to ask YOU questions about you and, in general, try to learn from you. The daycare kids I've met (<- key statement) seem like the world is all about them: how are you going to entertain them, if you're not entertaining them they will make their own entertainment by becoming a nuisance, or they'll just plain ignore you because they're not even in the room. They'll want to show you THEIR stuff and they'll tell you about themselves. Now part of this could be because by the time I meet someone's kids I know I like the parents and therefore the parents are of a certain personality type that I already like; thus their kids are more likely to also be of that personality type and culture. I would say that 99.9% of the time I can tell you what the kids are like from knowing the parents and whether the kids are in daycare or not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=RVJQ Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:231462 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
