Some of the islands take special permission, others its just hard to make arrangements. Midway Phoenix used to run between Hawaii and Midway but last I heard they shut down operations. Wake Island is just a refueling station for SAC anymore. There are over 100 civilian contractors on island and over 700 flights a year to Wake. So I imagine there has to be a way. I would love to just travel the islands of the South Pacific, especially the islands of WWII. **
