Out of curiosity (since I mentioned it) I tried Orb (www.orb.com) myself
tonight: it works pretty damn well. It's not HD, mind you, but the setup
was a piece of cake and the video quality when streamed through the PS3
browser was much better than I expected (the software sits on your PC and
converts pretty much any media you have to Flash video or audio on the fly).

You could definitely watch a show with it - sound was good, picture was fine
(I'd say a little rough, but not too far off the source material I tried).
(Still, my DVD player also plays this stuff and IS HD so I'll stick with
that...)

You could also, for just a few shows like this, just convert the files to
MP4. There are a ton of convertors out there, I've used the tools from
RedKawa.com very happily for the PSP. In addition to stand-alone convertors
(for all capable systems) they have a product called "Videora" that actually
does everything in one step: downloads video (using BitTorrent and RSS) and
automatically converts it for use on the game system of your choice.

I personally don't use BitTorrent so I've not tried it out (I'm still
old-fashioned: Usenet for me) but I've heard good things.
