One of the problems that I have been reading about is PC makers are selling
machines that have the minimum hardware to run whatever version of Vista is
installed on the PC. In fact, there is a lawsuit pending for this very
thing. The plaintiff is suing MS for false advertisement. Anyway, I know
that if I were to buy a new PC I would make sure that it exceeded the
standard for the version of Vista I am running. (and I am not implying that
you bought an inferior machine, I know that us programmers know better than
that). Of course I know that would not solve all of the issues that Vista
has. I guess I will just stick with XP Pro for now and seriously consider
getting a Mac when I need to get a new machine.
