you were not in the thread when I made the comment, so I did not have you in 
mind. You can always say the shoe fits if you like, but that would be on you. 

I bowed out of the argument and suggested to Gel that he do the same because 
Gruss said that anyone who disagreed with him was dishonorable. That's a pretty 
good example of invincible ignorance, used here as a technical term in logic. 
Invincible ignorance is an argument of the form "I don't care what you say, I 
still think x." 

Since the person saying this does not care what you say, there is no point in 
pursuing the conversation. And of course, the saying is that you cannot teach a 
pig to sing - it merely annoys the pig and tires out the teacher. 

I respect you for your thoughtfulness, sir, but no, you did not read my last 
post correctly. You also spelled invincibly wrong. I normally don't play the 
spelling police, but you put in in quotes and attributed it to me.
