>"...playing politics as usual in the US House and Senate, will bring a >political swing back to the right." >
No, that is why I am Libertarian. The people I know voted democratic in the last election and are pissed that none of the promises have been delivered on. We're still in Iraq and the Patriot Act has not been overturned. The democrats are more interested in playing pork than getting us out of Iraq. >And in the ancient past when the swing WAS right the politics where >played differently? > Two parties are not enough, we need at least 5. This will force anyone trying to get anything in Washington done to build a coalition and might tone down the partisan rhetoric coming out of there. >Personally, as long as this country is effectively uses a two party >system, I prefer when the power in Washington is divided. > It isn't just in Louisiana, I'm seeing democratic hypocracy in Massechusetts, California, New Your, Washington, Virginia, etc (specifics are Pelisi trip to Syria, Kerry and Kennedee opening thier mouths, Sharpton and Jackson on Duke and calls for gun control after VT). >Now if you want to discuss other solutions - that may be interesting. >But citing one example of Democratic badness in one state and then using >that to speak for the entire country is all kinds of debating badness. > Well Duh! See my comments on the bipartisan system. >It would not be hard to match Republican badness in other localities on >a one to one basis. The only conclusion I get for this is that BOTH >parties play the political game the same and until there is fresh blood >to stir things up, I don't see this changing. SO at least keep the two >sides as balanced as possible. After Edwin Edwards and Bill "Cold Money" Jefferson Bush seems enlightened and honest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create Web Applications With ColdFusion MX7 & Flex 2.
