well, I have to eat my words....after reading a study saying that coffee made in presses can raise cholesterol levels and my family has quite the history of cholesterol problems....I bought a coffee maker. Surprisingly it makes pretty good coffee. A big time plus is that is has a timer that now allows go straight for the java juice right after my shower. No waiting for water to warm up....
maybe I'm not quite the snob I thought I was. ....But Starbucks is still crappy.
