I've been using their firewall for about a month now since my subscription to zoneAlarm anti-virus lapsed (I uninstalled all the zone alarm stuff) and I have no complaints. I think the messages are even a little more clear than zonealarm, although they're still confusing to non-techies.
I haven't been using their anti-virus because I had recently installed the AOL free one (Kaspersky variant). Although I did have to turn off the on-access protection because it was causing some of my programs to think files didn't exist. I guess the anti-virus wasn't forwarding them onto the calling program fast enough.
