I doubt it - at least now.

Nintendo makes GREAT GAMES.  A+, Top-o'-the-line, upper tier games - and
they paid their dues.  People fell in love with Nintendo when they were the
dominant platform - that allowed them to lose share but retain trusted
boutique status through some lean years.

The Wii isn't selling _because_ it's underpowered (it is) it's selling _in
spite_ of it.  Nintendo hit the curve on the burgeoning casual gamer market
perfectly (although there's still some question whether the Wii has any
staying power).

Apple just doesn't have the potential to follow Nintendo's model.  That's
not to say that they can't make the Mac more gamer friendly, or even into a
gaming powerhouse - but they won't be able to emulate Nintendo to do it.
Even MS is more miss than hit in the gaming department.
