Lemme pitch this out there... For the sake of argument lets says that he did fire folks for political reasons.... Federal Employment is "at will" meaning that you can be fired for almost any reason at any time. Which wouldn't make it illegal.. hell I've seen it happen at the agencies that I've worked for.
