I know this came up once before, but it's something I am running into a lot in my job hunt right now.
So far I would say 50% of the headhunters that contact me are overseas. Normally I wouldn't think twice about it. However, I primarily work for the federal government doing work that requires a clearance. The level of my clearance, my phone number, address and work history is now in the hands of several companies that are not beholden to US privacy laws. That kind of bothers me. I have been contacted by two overseas headhunters in the past 24 hours, both shopping jobs in the DC area, both require a security clearance. That doesn't bother anyone else?
