When I was in high school one of the cheerleaders had a plate that wasn't vanity but she treated it like one - in Virginia on a plate that was tagged "Virginia is for Lovers" her plate number was NE1469. If I were to get vanity plates they'd have my callsign on them with a tower next to them (Amateur Radio).
