Was going to post this when the air conditioning thread was going down, since I was working on it at the time... anyways, I, single-handedly, got a 6500 mastercool on the roof of my place a bit ago. Using nothing but the packing materials and a ladder.
Sure, friends would have helped, had I called, but I never call, and a call to help me lug crap... eh... just couldn't do it. 'specially since do to positioning, it wasn't one of those deals where a bunch of muscles would have done much good. Well, ONE bunch of muscles, but the multiple-- just wouldn't've had room. Had to make a duct outta some sheet metal and tin snips... wish I had some pop-rivets... eh... we're cool, and that's what matters. Woot! Who cares if the low setting makes a disturbing throbbing noise... (hehe... troubleshooted it down to the "low" wire)... FULL POWER WORKS for those hot days... which we're rolling into, down here...
