You can open Office 2007 docs in earlier versions using the (free) Compatibility pack: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941b3470-3ae9-4aee- 8f43-c6bb74cd1466&displaylang=en Note that if you can control your users enough it's also easy in Word 2007 to save files in the older version (just hit the Office button and choose "Save As" then select the format you'd like). With the addition of the free PDF export filter you can also create PDFs directly from Word 2007: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4D951911-3E7E-4AE6- B059-A2E79ED87041&displaylang=en I'm loving Office 2007 so far. Freakin' brilliant. ;^) But since the office is still on Office 2000 I've become more than a little familiar with the "Save as older version" functionality.
