I'm not comparing the PS2 to the PS3, i'm comparing how they stand out from
the others upon their release.

As a novice gamer, when the PS2 came out, the graphics were amazing and it
doubled as a DVD player and music player. That was the first time I'd seen
that. So I bought one. All that other stuff you mentioned doesn't mean
diddly-po to the average gamer like me.

Nothing about the PS3 has "stood out" to me. Doesn't mean it's not there,
but if I don't know about it, chances are others like me don't either.
