A few weeks ago, I had to change my cell phone number (for those of you following my previous thread, yes it was because I was being harassed by my ex-husband).
So, the nice lady at Sprint walks me through changing my phone number and voila! Everything is peachy. That is until I get the bill. Activation Fees $34.99 For new Phone number Cancellation Charges. $300 Taxes on Cancellation Carges $15.19. For what?? Did they tell me about any of these charges? No.... Did I change anything on my wireless plan besides the phone number?? Noo... So, I called Customer Service and they very nicely take all of it off. Which leads me to wonder.... Do the wireless phone companies just throw all these charges on the bill when something changes even though they aren't applicable, hoping that a certain percentage of people won't look at the bill closely and will just pay it? Obviously I didn't cancel or activate anything, I just changed the phone number (btw, I looked at the web site, very carefully and there was information on changing your phone number and nowhere was there any indications that changing your phone number changed your plan.) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sandra Clark Macromedia Certified Advanced Coldfusion 5.0 Developer Shayna Productions http://www.shayna.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> :: :: :: :: :: <---- Eat these line monster! ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
