To be honest, while not ideal, a 1 hour and change commute really isn't that
bad.  Before I left NJ I drove about an hour to work for a salary half of
what I make now.

When we first moved to the DC area I lived in Southern Maryland and worked
in Fairfax, VA.  If I left early enough in the AM, I could get to work in
just about an hour, however, no matter how soon I left in the afternoon I
always got stuck in traffic sometimes it would take me almost 3 hours to get
home.  And this was for a salary just a tad bit higher than the one I had
before leaving NJ.

The best advice I can offer is you need to do whats best for your family,
not for Charlie.
