Before I start I'm going to assume that at least some of you have
fought the urge to pull out pointy objects when the name of Netscape is
uttered. I know, I know, it's the more 'W3C' compliant browser and
they've taken huge strides to make it more friendly with sites out
there already, but it still gets annoying as crap.

Anyways, I'm wondering what the deal is with Netscape 6.2 and
Javascript. I recently wrote this really neat pricing update that
takes the text in a drop-down and populates a read-only text box. It
even works in 4.7... but not 6.2 (*grrrrrr*).

Then theres SSL... as I understood it, there were three levels of
encryption... none, 40 bit and 128 bit. Okay, so it'll take less time
for a 40 bit key to be broken, but since when is it "Low Grade" and why
does Netscape tell people that their data may be viewed by a third
party!?

Anyways, I'm off to look at our other sites to see what works and what
doesn't.

(*Grumble*)
