I remember seeing an article to the effect that AOL/Time Warner (owners of Netscape) said that they were going to be a media company not a browser company.
Also, I have to say that I was fairly relieved with the latest release. Now that my initial wretching has passed it does look at least fairly managable. A lot of the sites I expected not to work in 6.2.1 ended up looking the same as IE.
