This seems to mimic what Acronis backup software does.

As for the Dave post,
I have difficulty understanding copying 240Gigs in 12 minutes over a
USB connection though. Maybe eSATA, but USB that fast? It takes me
much longer to write that amount of data to my external drive :-\

And of course if the first machine isn't working, then you would need
another PC to access your files.

Clearly Mac OSX has some neat features, but the point is that Vista
has made things a bit easier for *windows* users.

And, there are no good AAA games for Macs so they're really just quite useless!
