I don't know. I think an awful lot of that onus is on the parents. Can you help your child keep everything in perspective? When ESPN cameras and huge crowds seem to suggest to the kid that this is some life or death tragedy...can you keep it in perspective that it's "just a game"....that what you've accomplished is incredibly special, no matter the final outcome...that sportsmanship and fair competition and camaraderie with your teammates and even your opponents...that these are the things to be valued and treasured.
