There is a big difference in my mind between "burned ants with a magnifying glass as an 8 year old", and "strangled, drowned, electrocuted, and bashed to death dogs for the fun of it as a 27 year old man.".
If you don't see a difference, then there is a difference between me and you. Had he just shot the dogs once, "humanely", this would be a completely different story. If it was _just_ dogfighting, he would be getting a better read. It is the torture ON TOP OF the dogfighting ON TOP OF the gambling ON TOP OF the lying that is the real story here.
