Well... It didn't work. Tomorrow, I'm off to hospital to undergo a revised septoplasty *and* here's the fun part... They are going to drill extra holes in my sinuses to help them drain. My surgeon tells me there is a risk of blindness, brain damage and/or massive blood loss so I'm guessing it's not going to be a walk in the park. The last one wasn't fun either but by comparison to what I've been told to expect, I think it might just well have been. Anyway, I'm hoping to be around and about in a couple of weeks and the aim of the game is to be fully fit before CFDevCon so I can get down to London and meet you lot all over again...
