I'm not sure what's going on with this, but the first link you sent over worked just fine for me. :-D
I was pleasantly surprised by the site, it really is quite nice as it is. If I had things my way I might pull the front end apart a little bit and rebuild it using CSS and make everything valid, also look at getting some accessibility approval by the W3C WAI or something along those lines. I also notice the whole thing is quite text intensive, especially that first page, it's a real slap in the face and might well detour people from reading further, the front page should really be focused around gaining the users initial interest, then allow them to explore in their own time to fine answers to their questions. I also don't know how their SEO works, it might be worth spending a bit of time putting consideration in to that, with these kind of non profit making organisations, raising their profile in the public eye is always of great value to them. It might also be worth looking at what other charities and organisations such as this are doing to promote themselves on the web, sort of like an eBumperSticker scheme where people can add a footer to their site simply to help promote the organisation, or perhaps one of those 'make poverty history' style javascript bands which run in the top corner of the page? Like this... http://www.makepovertyhistory.org/getinvolved/banners.shtml ..... just a thought. My few cents Dana, not sure if those were the kinds of suggestions you were after, but hey! Worth a shot. Rob -----Original Message----- From: Dana [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 01 September 2007 16:49 To: CF-Community Subject: Re: suggestions for site what the hell. No kidding.
