How about I look at you and tell you its nuts? And you're wrong?

I support the existence of Isreal. I think they are a great ally. I'm
quite a fan of Judaism and Jewishness in general.

You may have noticed my name. I was named for Judah Maccabee in
appreciation for his leadership, his tenacity and the determination the
Maccabee's showed. All wonderful traits that I think that Jews have
demonstrated consistently over many many generations.

But Jews don't have a lock on the market for being persecuted. Israel
doesn't seem to be leading the fight for Kurds to have their own
homeland, do they? Sure, there are people that don't like Jews. Just
like there are plenty of people that don't like Muslims, that don't like
Christianity, that don't like Hindu's, etc. There have been
millenniums of fighting, persecution, pogroms and genocide based on
religion and ethnicity and Jews are by no means unique in being persecuted.

So lets try to focus on having a good homeland for all people and trying
to end all manner of ethnic and religious hatred instead of trying to
pull a "more persecuted than thou" card, ok?

Judah
