I considered this position as well. Looked at apartments and houses in
the area. Pretty expensive place to live, but man is it beautiful. I
love the woods and I especially love living in a place that actually has
four seasons.
I know that when I retire I am NOT going to retire in Cali. I am moving
up North or in the Rocky Mt. region.

I went to HS in Jackson Hole Wyo in the late 70's and early 80's back
when only 1800 people lived there and there were no more than 500 kids
in my HS. I loved it there. I loved living all Jeremiah Johnson. If I
stayed in Cali, I would not have been able to play on the football team,
participate in the schools downhill race team or the school's rodeo
club. There is something to be said for good clean country living.
